Day Care

Our before and after school care accounts for today’s parental needs with respect to organising family life. Our staff provides a pleasant atmosphere and gives each child the attention and care they need. Depending on the children's interests, they play independently indoors or outdoors, engage in supervised craft activities or visit playgrounds in the neighbourhood. Living together in mutual respect is taught and encouraged.

The broad selection and booking flexibility of our Day Care offers allow you to pursue your career whilst having a partner on your side that supports you with your child’s everyday school life.

Hot Lunch

At lunchtime, all students eat together under the supervision of our teachers and support staff. Families have the option to provide their child with a packed lunch from home or can enrol for our Hot Lunch offer.

We have partnered with Cassis Catering, who provide our hot lunch service and guarantee a healthy, balanced diet using fresh and local Swiss meat and produce. Children are also welcome with packed lunch from home.

After lunch, the children spend between 30 and 60 minutes playing in the garden or on the playground, where they can enjoy themselves and get some fresh air.

Childcare During the Holidays for Lakeside School Students and External Children

We are happy to offer care for your child during four school holiday weeks per year, whether they are Lakeside School students or not. Our Holiday Care team plans a variety of leisure activities according to the children’s age and group size, with a focus on active, theme-based holiday experiences.

After School Clubs

We have partnered up with a variety of professionals who offer after school clubs at our campuses, engaging  your child in exciting activities for the mind and body. They are bookable by the semester.

For questions or to register, contact the organiser of the respective after school club directly.

FAQ

What is a day school?

As a day school, we cater to holistic education and care, accounting for both 21st Century family and professional life. With lunch service prior to supervised break time, our school offers Day Care options before and after school as well as our Holiday School during most of the school holidays. Depending on their grade level, our students also have the opportunity to do some of their homework whilst being supervised at school at the end of the day.

Why choose a day school?

We offer families a partner who can help them organize a challenging family life. Working families especially appreciate our before and after school daycare. Most of our families choose our hot lunch program knowing that their child will receive a nutritious meal with organic ingredients. Finally, day school supports our approach to fostering and celebrating community.
