Organizational Chart The Board of Trustees is responsible for strategic decision making. The Headmaster, Mr. S. Urner, is responsible for the implementation of these strategies into the daily operational management of the school, and is solely responsible for personnel and finances. There are three division lead teachers; their function is to act as a liaison between the teachers and the headmaster. They take shared responsibility both as a member and leader of the team with respect to pedagogical and organizational issues concerning their division. Melanie Thomson is the lead teacher for Reception and Kindergarten, Liz Blum for the 1st - 3rd grades (also Head of the Outdoor Pre-School) and Denise Fabbri for 4th - 6th grade. The Lakeside School is funded by the Lakeside Bilingual Day School Foundation. Any surplus funds are reinvested in the expansion and development of the school’s quality and infrastructure. Lakeside School, like any other private school in Zurich, receives no government subsidies. |
