The Lakeside School has a clearly defined concept while remaining non-confessional and not bound by any ideology. Therefore, we have a broad outlook and time to reflect and exchange ideas. We welcome the challenge of convincing newcomers of our fascinating and unique type of Primary schooling. The school management and teaching staff themselves involved in a constant learning process are happy to consider the personal viewpoints of parents and children. As a result of their training, expertise and experience they are able to competently advise on how to optimally support the individual child. This commitment of getting to know and fostering each individual is very fulfilling and infectious. The increasing skills, knowledge and social competence of every pupil are a product of the level of professionalism of all who work here.

A school which perceives you as you are, gives you the positive feeling of self-confidence and trust in yourself, making learning a worthwhile experience. Topics and themes which effect you, challenge you to explore and investigate and encourage you to come up with your own ideas. All your sensory perceptions are needed - and all of this in two languages! That’s right, you are immersed in German and English by using them naturally in all subjects. You will enter a new and exciting world. And this world you share with many older and younger children, when eating, playing or celebrating together. Fair and simple rules give us a feeling of security and help us treat each other with respect. If sometimes a quarrel develops, we find solutions together. We are sure we will find one!
