About Us

The Parents’ Club at the Lakeside School was founded on 23rd September 1997. Its main aim is to promote the well-being of the school’s children. We aspire this by organising school events, promoting contact and exchange of experiences between parents and with the school management, fund-raising for the school’s needs or other specific purposes related to our children or children in general. Together with the School Management the Parents’ Club publishes the school’s regular information newsletter "the Lakeside Gazette".

The Parents' Club Board is made up of 2 Class Representatives per class, and an Executive Board. The Executive Board consists of 2 representatives per project group, as shown below.

The Parents’ Club Board of Trustees meets regularly approximately six times per year.  The board meets in regular intervals to discuss and decide upon ongoing events, and pending inquiries and projects. The Parents' Club is involved in the creating and publishing the Lakeside Gazette. The regular participation of the school’s headmaster at the board meetings provides for an optimal co-ordination between the Parents’ Club and the school.

Traditional social events and after school activities organised by the Parents’ Club are:

  • Halloween
  • Yearly Performance Buffet
  • Easter Breakfast
  • Initiating Extracurricular Courses
  • Charity Event
